General Rule: The VERB is always at the 2nd place!!!
e.g.
Jeg snakker norsk
However, there are three cases that deviate from the above principle
1) The sentence begins with time or place expression (e.g. Nå; I dag; I morgen; På skolen; På mandag; I Norge)
We add time:
e.g.
Nå snakker jeg norsk
We add place:
e.g.
I Norge snakker jeg norsk
2) The sentence with dependent clause (Leddsetning)
a) Dependent Clause I place
e.g.
Hvis du sulten, kan du spise noe - If you hungry, you can eat something
Når jeg lærer mye, vil jeg snakke norsk veldig bra. = When I learn a lot, I'll speak Norwegian very good
b) Dependent Clause II place
e.g.
Jeg så ham/han i går. Da var han i godt humør. = I saw him yesterday. When he was in a good mood.
3) Questions with interrogative pronouns
Hva sier han? = What does he say?
Hvor kommer du fra = Where do you come from?
