Lesson 11: Nuts

Usually when we talk about nuts, we use the plural form. Of course it is good to know that a nut has masculine gender [en nøtt]. In addition, when we talk about Christmas time in Norway, one who has found one almond in his porridge [en mandel] receives a gift [custom that is practiced only in some Norwegian families]. Taking everything into account, most words, which you will get to know today will be in plural form. (-er).
