Lesson 11: SKAL DU HANDLE MAT I DAG? [PART 4]

Different ways of asking if you would like something else:
  1. Var det alt? Is that all?
  2. Er det alt? – Is that all?
  3. Var det noe annet? - Was there anything else?
  4. Noe annet? = Something else?
  5. Skal det være noe annet? – Would you like anything else?
  6. Vil du ha noe annet? - Do you want anything else?

+ Takk, det klarer seg That's enough (fine)
+ Takk, det var altThat's all, thank you

Obviously is sufficient to know only one expression of the aforementioned but I think that knowing all of them will prevent potential mishaps in store ;)

When you finished shopping and you want to pay
  1. Hvor mye blir det? - How much is it (all)?

+ Det blir ___

Paying by card?

When you paid for your goods, often the cashier asks if you want a receipt/ or you may ask yourself if you need one:
  1. Vil du ha kvittering= Will you have receipt?

  2. Her er vekslepengene = Here is your change

  • å veksle penger = to change/exchange money --> you write separately

    but:
  • en endring = to change attitude
