Lesson 11: SKAL DU HANDLE MAT I DAG? [PART 3]




  1. Kari har en handleliste for å huske alle de tingene hun må kjøpe. She has a shopping list to remember all the things she must buy.

  2. Hun tar handlevognen fordi hun planlegger å handle mye. She takes cart because she plans to shop a lot.


  • Unnskyld meg, ...
  • Hvor kan jeg finne noen grønnsaker?  
  • Grønnsakene ligger der borte til høyre
  • Hvor finner jeg matpapir? 
  • Matpapiret ligger der borte til venstre







Translation:
"Excuse me, …".
Where can I find some vegetables?
The vegetables are over there to the right
Where can I find sandwich paper?
Sandwich paper is over there on the left



  • Hun kjøpte et kilo appelsiner og to kilo druerShe bought a kilo of oranges and two kilos of grapes




  • Hun liker bananer så hun kjøpte en stor pose av demShe likes bananas so she bought a big bag of them



  • Hun foretrakk å kjøpe fersk istedenfor frossen fisk She preferred to buy fresh rather than frozen fish



  • Dere drikker bare lettmelk, men hun kjøpte helmelk ved en feiltagelse. - They only drink low-fat milk, but she bought whole milk by mistake.


  • Poteter og gulrøtter var billig så hun kjøpte et par kilo. Potatoes and carrots were cheap so she bought a couple of kilograms






  • Hun ønsket å kjøpe søtningsmiddel, men det var utsolgt. Isteden kjøpte hun sukker og honning - She wanted to buy a sweetener, but it was sold out. Instead, she bought sugar and honey




  • Selv om biffen var dyr, kjøpte hun den til middag. - Although the steak was expensive, she bought it for dinner




  • Også kjøpte hun mandler fordi de er veldig sunne og har mange vitaminer.Also she bought almonds because they are very healthy and have lots of vitamins.




  • Hennes kjæreste er glad i søtsaker, derfor måtte hun kjøpe noe godteri Her boyfriend loves sweets, so she had to buy some candy.





  • Hun gikk til kassen for å betale. Hun kjøpte mange varer så hun var forbauset over at det ble så billig.- She went to the till to pay. She bought many products so she was amazed that it was so cheap.



  • Hun puttet varene ned i posene.She put the goods into the bags

  • Hun bar/*bærte en pose med varer She carried a bag with goods





Hva kjøpte hun mye av? What did she buy a lot of?


Hva kjøpte hun lite avWhat did she buy a little of?



Handlekurven/ Handlevognen er nyttig å ta når du planlegger å handle mat shopping basket/cart is useful to take when you are planning to do a grocery shopping




Some used verbs:

å putte - to put, place 
  • Jeg har glemt at tidligere puttet jeg pengene i lommen = I have forgotten that earlier I put the money in the pocket


å forbause – to surprise, amaze, astonish 
å være forbauset
– to be surprised, amazed


å bære: - to carry
bærer 
bar/*bærte
har båret/*har bært
In some dialects people use this form, although "grammatically correct" is to say "bar" & "har båret"

  • Hun bærer på ei tung bør She carries a heavy burden
